Inspired by the great response we had to the ‘Whale Spirit’ pendants I’ve resumed work on another Australasian design I started a while back. This one is a double-sided heavy silver Hei-Matau pendant. The prototype is in the picture (the stick thing on the bottom of the pendant is a casting feed or sprue; they wont be on the finished silver pendants).
Some of the finished pieces will be available from our online shop in a few weeks time.

The Argent Aqua team saved a Guillemot.
We found Guilly the guillemot washed up on Littlehampton beach.
She wasn’t ‘oiled’ but she was totally exhausted and would have been at serious risk from predators. After spending the night in our bath and having some sand eels for breakfast she had regained some strength and has now been handed over to our local wildlife rescue centre to fully recuperate before returning to the sea.

The Ocean Sunfish, Mola mola, or common mola, is the heaviest known bony fish in the world, Individuals weighing up to 2,300 kg (5,100 lb) have been observed. Surprisingly its closest living relative is the modestly sized puffer fish.
Swimming in the open ocean with a Giant Sunfish is considered one of the greatest animal encounters that can be experienced.
This Silver pendant measures 3.3cm from fin tip to fin tip and weighs around 4.4g and has a natural sapphire set in its eye.
The pendants are now available in my online shop www.argentaqua.com
